“ All I can address here are the Rojos and the customer service. I grew up in San Angelo and loved going to Shakey's to get pizza, chicken and rojos. Alas, Shakey's is long gone, but HOORAY for the heroes over at Rooster's who purchased the recipe for Rojos to ensure that the love will live on. ;) Any time we go home, we head over to Rooster's, where we are met by some of the friendliest folks, who seem happy with where they work and truly happy to make sure your order is done right and you're pleased with their product. We order 3 large boxes each time; one for the ride home, and two to snack on once we've gotten back. Thanks, Rooster's, for making sure to keep a small part of old San Angelo alive and well. ”

“ Very very friendly counter service. Interior of the dining room very clean. Price is a little deceptive but still reasonable. Chicken had a high-pitched crunch when you been into it even though it was made about half an hour ago maybe. The baked beans are on the sweet side but still good. The jalapeno pasta is a cold pasta with a Zing of jalapeno to it. Fountain drinks are offered here instead of just can or bottle which is a good thing. ”

“ This is definitely our go to when visiting San Angelo! Not many places that sell Rojas (aka the best potatoes ever!!) the chicken is always fresh, hot, and delicious. We usually go through the drive-thru or have it delivered, but it is always amazing. It is also very reasonably priced, and the amount of food you get is so much! It's definitely located in a more sketch part of town but worth the drive. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone who is looking for fast food that has the taste and quality of restaurant food. ”
